Heartsaver First Aid, CPR & AED Course

 American Heart Association (AHA) Certified Training for the Workplace and Community

The Heartsaver® First Aid, CPR & AED course is an American Heart Association (AHA) certified training designed for anyone with little or no medical experience who wants to be prepared to respond confidently in emergency situations at home, work, school, or in the community.

This hands-on course provides essential training in how to save a life, including how to perform CPR, use an AED, and give basic first aid to someone who is hurt or suddenly becomes ill.

• Attend a 2.5-hour in-person training course (Our Location- Sandy Springs)
• Pass off on your Hands-on demonstration and Skills testing (adult/infant CPR & AED)
• Receive your HEARTSAVER CPR + First Aid Provider Card, valid for 2 years.

•  Recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies
• Perform high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants
• Use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) effectively
• Assist a person who is choking
• Provide care for:
  • Bleeding and wounds
  • Sprains, strains, and broken bones
  • Burns, bites, and stings
  • Sudden illnesses (e.g. seizures, strokes, allergic reactions, fainting)
  • Heat and cold-related emergencies
• Understand how to safely use personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Activate EMS (911) and relay important information to first responders
• CPR practice on adult, child, and infant manikins
• AED use simulations
• First aid practice scenarios (bandaging, splinting, emergency response drills)
   

•  Duration: Approximately 2.5 hours
• Delivery: In-person, instructor-led, with hands-on skills session
• Location: Nurse Mom and Family LLC Training Center, Sandy Springs, GA
• Certification: American Heart Association HEARTSAVER CPR + FIRST AID Provider eCard, valid for 2 years

To secure your seat in the course, full payment must be received by the posted deadline. Space is limited, and seats are reserved on a first-paid basis. Tuition is non-refundable after the start of the course.
