Established in 2019, Nurse Mom and Family LLC is a Black-owned, family-run business committed to supporting and educating the nursing community. We proudly serve our community by offering certification programs that help individuals grow in the nursing field and become strong, positive contributors to society. Our mission is to empower future healthcare workers through quality training, hands-on learning, and community-centered support.

It all started with a conversation at the end of one of his classes...
During the wrapping up of a Med Tech course at a local care home, Daphne was approached by a longtime colleague — someone she deeply respected. He had been teaching the program for years but was ready to retire. With a knowing smile, he said, “I think you’re the one to carry this forward.”
Intrigued and honored, Daphne decided to shadow his class. As she watched him teach and connected with the students, something clicked. She didn’t just see a class — she saw a calling. And from that moment on, what began as a quiet offer became a bold next chapter. The legacy of the program would continue, with Daphne at the helm.

Nurse Mom and Family LLC is a Black-owned healthcare education and workforce development organization committed to advancing access, equity, and excellence in healthcare training.
Our mission is to empower individuals from all backgrounds to pursue
meaningful careers in healthcare through high-quality, accessible certification programs, professional development, and support services.
We offer a wide range of certifications and training in areas such as certified medication aide, Basic Life Support (BLS), Heartsaver CPR & First Aid, and other essential healthcare and compliance-related services. Through community-based education, mentorship, and a hands-on approach to learning, we prepare students not only to meet workforce demands but to exceed them as skilled, confident, and compassionate professionals.
