The Certified Medication Aide (CMA) course is a comprehensive state-approved training program designed to equip caregivers and healthcare workers with the knowledge and hands-on skills necessary to safely administer medications in long-term care and assisted living environments.
The Basic Life Support (BLS) course is an American Heart Association (AHA) approved training designed specifically for healthcare providers and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and respond to cardiovascular emergencies in a clinical or pre-hospital setting.
The Heartsaver® First Aid, CPR & AED course is an American Heart Association (AHA) certified training designed for anyone with little or no medical experience who wants to be prepared to respond confidently in emergency situations at home, work, school, or in the community.
This course will dive deep into the fundamentals and procedures of Phlebotomy, which is the process of using a needle to take blood from a vein. Phlebotomy students will be taught real-life applications of safety as they pertain to phlebotomy. The course will cover the day-to-day of a working laboratory phlebotomist as well as how to maintain a positively functioning environment with staff and clients.
This course provides comprehensive training in electrocardiography (EKG/ECG), covering cardiac anatomy and physiology, EKG interpretation, lead placement, and patient care. Through a combination of lectures, hands-on practice, and real-world case studies, participants will learn to accurately identify normal and abnormal EKG patterns, recognize life-threatening arrhythmia's, and apply appropriate nursing interventions.
