ACLS/ EKG

 The ACLS Prep/EKG course helps students learn important skills in recognizing EKG patterns and understanding how to treat patients with the right medications. Without a good understanding of EKGs or drug treatments, it can be harder for healthcare providers to get ACLS certification. That’s why this course was redesigned to focus on these areas and help students improve their skills in reading EKGs and knowing which treatments to use. 

 The course is designed for those who are already working in the healthcare or associated industries. This includes individuals such as EMTs, and firefighters.

Duration: 2 hours, 1- day. 

Total Price: $300 (payments due 10 days out from course) 

Additional Information

Students will learn...

• Explain the parts of the heart and how electrical signals control it.
• Explain what normal ECG readings should look like.
• Recognize and understand common irregular heartbeats
• List basic ACLS medicines and what they are used for.
• Identify the right doses and ways to give these medicines during heart emergencies.
• Use basic medicine knowledge to follow ACLS treatment steps.
